Logistics Administrator
Experience as an administrator in a logistics/shipping/export/freight environment is required!
Knutsford, Office-based role
Monday to Friday 9am – 5pm
Up to £25,000 + benefits!

Outsource UK is looking for an experienced Logistics Administrator with experience working in a Logistics/Shipping/Export environment. Our client is a global provider based in the Knutsford area. This role will be permanent role.
  
The successful candidate will have previous office-based experience in Administration in either a logistics/shipping/freight/export environment.

Overview of the Logistics Administrator role:
  • To manage daily workload and prioritize workload
  • Delivering the highest level of customer service to customers
  • Responding to queries promptly
  • Ensuring you understand country-specific requirements regarding shipping
  • Ensuring all documents created are clear and precise
  • Liaising with custom agents and haulage companies
  • Negotiating price rates
  • Updating company spreadsheets and the database
Key skills and qualifications required for the Logistics Administrator role:
  • Articulate and professional with good organisation skills
  • Previous office-based experience in a logistics/shipping or export company
  • Strong MS Excel skills
  • Strong communication skills
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment
