Finance Administrator
Client: BAE Systems
Location: Barrow-in-Furness
Rate: £14.23 PAYE per hour
Duration: 6 to 12 month contract
Start Date: ASAP
  
Role Overview:
BAE Systems is seeking a Finance Administrator, focusing on Time and Attendance processes. This role is integral to ensuring that weekly timekeeping and attendance procedures run smoothly across the business. You will be responsible for managing attendance data, reconciling timesheets, supporting governance processes, and providing hands-on support for the time and attendance system.
  
Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure the timely completion of weekly time and attendance and electronic timekeeping processes.
  • Solve timekeeping issues and address root causes to prevent reoccurrence.
  • Provide hands-on support across the business on the time and attendance system.
  • Support the governance of working patterns and ensure alignment with company policies.
  • Process leave requests, overtime, clocking exceptions, and timesheets for employees.
  • Reconcile data and run weekly pay files.
  • Input supplementary hire data for new starters and manage employee movement across different working patterns.
  
Key Skills and Competencies:
  • Ability to work independently and proactively address challenges.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Effective communication skills, able to interact with all levels of the organization.
  • Comfortable learning and adapting to new IT systems.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Applications and financial systems.
