Electrical Engineer – Power
Location: Filton or Barrow
Hourly Rate: £79.17 Umbrella Inside IR35 – 37 hours per week
Duration: 12 months
Working Arrangements: on site 2 days every 2 weeks

Core Duties:
- Develop design solutions that meet time, cost, and quality standards in line with project milestones.
- Manage requirements and acceptance criteria for systems or products.
- Ensure compliance with contractual and performance requirements throughout design, integration, installation, and commissioning phases.
- Produce documentation for design review processes, including technical specifications and design evidence.
- Conduct design reviews and present findings to customers.
- Provide technical support for performance and acceptance activities.
- Review supplier documentation and maintain accurate records.
- Support bid proposals and project planning with accurate resource estimates.
- Champion safety and environmental standards within the team.
- Technical report writing and engineering lifecycle experience.
- Familiarity with defence standards is advantageous.
- Expertise in power system modelling, generators, switchgear, power electronics, and more.
- Proficient in technical specifications, system calculations, and developing test procedures.
- Experience with low voltage AC/DC electrical distribution and protection systems.
