Product Safety Engineer
Client: BAE Systems
Location: Barrow in Furness (2 days onsite per fortnight)
Duration: 6 months (37 hours per week)
Hourly Rate: £55.31 PAYE or £72.98 Umbrella (INSIDE IR35)
Clearance: BPSS + SC
About the Role: Join BAE as a Nuclear Safety Case Engineer where you will play a pivotal role in ensuring our products are safe and compliant. This position involves collaborating with our Engineering Delivery Manager in enhancing our Product Safety Management System and Safety Case.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead in developing and managing Product Safety requirements.
- Implement and maintain the Safety Management System.
- Conduct hazard and risk assessments, and manage the Project Hazard Log.
- Provide expert advice on Product Safety engineering.
- Produce and oversee the Project Safety Case, including reports.
- Deliver and support training in Product Safety and Environmental domains.
- Engage with internal and external stakeholders to meet safety requirements.
