Overview
BAE Systems is seeking a Business Support Supervisor to lead and coordinate the Material Control team within the Operations Function
Skills
- Extensive experience in a Material Control role within the Business Support function.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and specialized tools such as SAP Hana and reprographic systems
- Experience in managing material control functions.
- Ability to lead a team and ensure high standards of safety, health, and environmental practices are maintained.
- Ability to make decisions based on defined guidelines and prioritize objectives to meet operational goals
The Job
- Lead and manage the Material Control team, ensuring compliance with standard procedures and governance.
- Serve as the GFE Manager and Reprographics Lead across multiple sites.
- Oversee Goods Inwards/Despatch processes and manage a range of clerical and administrative duties.
- Produce routine reports, schedules, and summaries for internal circulation or customers and suppliers.
- Maintain up-to-date filing systems for easy information retrieval.
