Outsource UK is seeking an experienced and multi-skilled Maintenance Officer to provide high-quality and efficient maintenance services within a corporate environment. This role offers a blend of planned and reactive maintenance, as well as project-based work, ideal for a proactive engineer with strong plumbing experience. You will collaborate with the Property Management team and other departments to enhance the working environment in a cost-effective manner.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform general electrical fault finding and plumbing repairs, including leak repairs and tasks arising from Legionella risk assessments.
- Execute painting and decorating of office areas, ensuring proper preparation and finishing.
- Carry out basic carpentry tasks and changing/repairing locks.
- Maintain and repair equipment, and handle internal and external building repairs.
- Conduct PAT testing of electrical appliances.
- Complete planned maintenance tasks as per the agreed schedule, maintaining accurate records.
- Respond to reactive maintenance requests raised via the Service Desk Database, ensuring timely resolution within service level agreements.
- Assist with minor office moves in coordination with the Office Move Coordinator.
- Manage deliveries and light porterage duties.
- Undertake any other reasonable maintenance-related tasks as needed.
- Positive can-do attitude with the ability to research and source solutions.
- Strong team player, self-motivated, and capable of prioritizing multiple tasks.
- Excellent customer service skills, providing effective support to colleagues and clients.
- Competent in general maintenance work, particularly plumbing.
- Committed to working within Health & Safety guidelines.
- Strong organizational skills.
- NVQ/City and Guilds level 3 or equivalent qualification in electrical installation (2330) or plumbing and water systems, including L8 works.
- Proven experience in a maintenance team environment.
