HVAC Designer – BAE Systems
Location – Scotstoun, Glasgow
Hourly Rate - £30.23 PAYE or £39.89 Umbrella
Duration – 12 months
Working arrangements – Flexible working arrangements with three days on-site (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday).
About the Role:
BAE Systems is seeking a HVAC Designer with a strong background in HVAC systems, calculations, and schematics. This role is integral to our engineering team, working on naval ship projects and building services. You will be responsible for reviewing contractor documentation, including equipment drawings and SHOCK policies, and contributing to the development and modification of engineering processes and procedures.

Key Skills:
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in engineering, ideally within a defence-related industry.
- In-depth knowledge of shipbuilding and marine engineering processes.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and experience with Marine Engineering Systems.
- Degree in engineering or related discipline preferred, or relevant experience.
- Eligibility for registration as an Incorporated Engineer with the Engineering Council.
