HSE Associate – Health, Safety & Environmental
Location: Stafford
Rate: £25.65 per hour Umbrella
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: 6 months (with potential for extension or permanent role)
Working Arrangements: Full on site role
Working hours: Monday to Thursday, 07:15 – 16:30, offering a long weekend every week. Flexibility with start and finish times may be available.

Requirements:
- Conduct inspections and tests to monitor EHS compliance and company practices.
- Train employees on EHS policies, procedures, and relevant regulations.
- Maintain accurate EHS records and assist in developing policies.
- Support learning and development initiatives, including the creation and delivery of training materials.
- Conduct site audits (EHS, ISO 14001, security) and support physical site security processes.
- Participate in incident investigations, ensuring preventive measures are identified and implemented.
- Maintain knowledge of health and safety regulations to provide expertise for site-related projects.
- 1-2 years of EHS experience with a solid understanding of EHS policies, PPE, Risk Assessments, COSHH, PUWER, and sustainability practices.
- NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent is required; IOSH membership is desirable (business will cover fees).
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel and PowerPoint essential, Power BI a bonus).
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think critically, challenge processes, and deliver innovative solutions.
- Confident communicator with a passion for training and development.
- Detail-oriented and comfortable working in a team-based environment.
