Senior Sub Contract Manager
Location: Luton, LU1
Salary: £55.00 PAYE or £71.65 Umbrella (Inside IR35)
Onsite Requirement: 4 days per week

Are you an experienced Senior Sub Contract Manager ready to lead strategic procurement within a dynamic and forward-thinking organisation?

Key Responsibilities:

Lead sub-contract management activities within Production & Development IPTs, delivering procurement services as required.
Cultivate strategic relationships with Leonardo's suppliers, holding Supplier Business Reviews and managing performance, risks, and impacts.
Oversee governance in business winning and programme delivery with minimal supervision.
Negotiate complex agreements, balancing risk/reward mechanisms for business case models.
Translate project requirements into commercial documents, particularly for bespoke complex electronic systems and sub-systems

What We’re Looking For:

Degree-level education or significant experience in a relevant field (MCIPS qualification preferred).
Strong collaboration, communication, and problem-solving skills.
In-depth knowledge of Procurement within the Defence/Aerospace industry (or similar sectors).
Solid understanding of Commercial and Legal aspects of contracting in defence/aerospace.
Ability to innovate and think outside the box to drive value and improvements.
Experience in cross-functional collaboration and influence across teams.
Familiarity with Export Compliance and IPR regulations in the Defence/Aerospace sector is a plus
