Senior Weights Engineer
Location: Glasgow, Bristol or Portsmouth (Flexible)
Contract: 12 months
Rate: £32 PAYE or £43.04 PAYE
Working Arrangements: 1-2 days on site per week

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain weight metrics, ensuring alignment with project budgets.
- Identify weight risks and opportunities for optimisation.
- Assess the impact of engineering changes on weight and CoG.
- Support design reviews and technical audits.
- Attend test weighing at supplier sites and within shipyards.
Requirements:
- 2+ years’ experience in engineering, defence, or a related industry - flexible on Industry experience.
- Strong weight and CoG calculation expertise.
- Proficiency in engineering analysis tools and decision-making.
- Excellent problem-solving and stakeholder management skills.
- Degree in engineering, science, or technology (preferred).
