Fuel Terminal Operator

£33000 + benefits
A Fuel Terminal Operator is required to work at an upper tier COMAH Site in Bristol on a permanent basis.
This is a shift role working 12 hour shifts comprising of 2 days, 2 nights followed by 6 days off.
You will be responsible for the control, receipt, handling, storage & delivery of Aviation fuel safely, and effectively.

You will be responsible for the control, receipt, handling, storage & delivery of Aviation fuel safely, and effectively.
Responsibilities:
- Control and operate basic plant and equipment as efficiently and safely as possible to a defined quality specification.
- Set up of pumping routes for the receiving, delivery and inter-site movement of aviation fuel
- Report and investigate deviations from normal operating conditions and be able to deal with basic process upsets.
- Responsible for the operation and security of the Petroleum Supply Depot (PSD), associated sites and to assist with maintenance.
- Accountable for safe, efficient and effective delivery of work Operations for self, work colleagues, plant & equipment and all stakeholder
Key skills
- Previous experience working on a COMAH site or in a fuel handling environment
- Oil, gas & petro chemical industry operational work experience.
- Scada operating experience
- Strong numeracy skills and proficiency in using computer systems
- Self motivated and driven
- Full UK Driving Licence
