We’re seeking an experienced Operational Programme Manager for a 12-month fixed-term contract to lead strategic projects in Retail Supply Chain Operations with a focus on merger and acquisition (M&A) integration. This role is critical in enhancing our technology, facilities, and distribution processes within a transforming retail environment.
Role Overview:
As our Operational Programme Manager, you’ll oversee the end-to-end delivery of high-impact supply chain and M&A projects, ensuring efficient, on-time completion with minimal disruption. You’ll manage complex project portfolios, control budgets, track benefits, and lead a team of Project Managers to deliver on retail and integration objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
- Programme Leadership: Lead full project lifecycles for retail supply chain and M&A integration, from planning through to implementation.
- M&A Integration: Manage seamless integration of systems, processes, and teams post-merger, aligning with strategic goals.
- Roadmap & Budget Management: Develop detailed project roadmaps, manage budgets, and ensure alignment with organizational priorities.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with retail and M&A teams, translating technical and integration details for clear business communication.
- Resource & Vendor Oversight: Ensure effective team resourcing and maintain strong vendor partnerships for successful project execution.
- Proven programme management experience in Retail Supply Chain Operations.
- Strong understanding of SCRUM, Agile, and Waterfall methodologies.
- Background in system migrations, data management, and retail reporting.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills to drive impactful, strategic results.
