Outsource UK seeks an experienced Head of Fraud to join our client's dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall performance and leadership of the Fraud teams.

Experience working within the insurance/banking industry is essential for this role.

Duties of the role:
  • Manage the delivery of fraud/financial crime prevention and
    monitoring activities within a significant area of operations such as digital, anti-terrorism, or money laundering to minimize the risk of financial losses or reputational harm in line with the organization's fraud management policies and procedures improvements
  • Develop fraud prevention policies and procedures and guide the development of related systems to enable the organization to prevent
    fraud/financial crime, detect and investigate suspicious activity, and mitigate the risks of losses or reputational harm
  • Explore and develop a detailed understanding of external developments or emerging issues and evaluate their potential impact on, or usefulness to, the organization
  • Ensure that business activities within the area of responsibility comply with relevant external regulatory and/or voluntary codes and with internal policies and procedures to minimize business risk and to protect the reputation of the organization
  • Identify and manage stakeholders up to management level, finding out their needs/issues/concerns and reacting to these by leading and coordinating the development of stakeholder engagement plans to support the communication of business information and decisions
Key Skills:
  • Experience in a similar role for a company within the insurance/banking industry
  • Experience in planning and managing resources to deliver predetermined objectives as specified by more senior managers
