Finance Manager - Logistics

Monday to Friday - standard office hours
£60,000 - £65,000 + 15% annual bonus
An experienced Finance Manager is wanted on a permanent basis for a client of ours who is at the forefront of their industry, and continuing to grow rapidly.
Experience working in a senior financial position within the logistics industry is a must to apply for this role.
This permanent opportunity includes a base salary of between £60,000 - £65,000 (dependent upon experience and qualifications) plus bonus and benefits.

Overview of the Finance Manager role:
- Ensure management information is fit for the decisions it is designed to support.
- Present Finance updates at regional operations meetings and any other functions where required.
- Assist with additional projects dictated by departmental goals/priorities
- Ensure all month-end deadlines are met and month-end actuals are accurate.
- Monthly analysis of annual €500m direct costs and understand underlying operational KPIs and performance metrics
- Report performance against KPIs and targets, and understand the drivers of change.
- Forecast the future month, the rest of the year, and next year’s direct costs. Develop models to improve the accuracy of forecasts.
- Financial Accounting. Be responsible for compliant financial accounting advice and decisions under IFRS.
- Responsible for external submissions to regulatory bodies
- Solid experience working in a senior financial position (minimum 5 years).
- Experience in the logistics industry
- Financial qualification (CIMA, ACCA etc)
