Control Room Operator – 6-month Fixed Term contract
Grays, Essex based
4 on 4 off (2 days, 2 nights – 6am – 6pm and 6pm-6am followed by 4 days off)
£43,000 - £48,000 plus bonus and benefits
Several Control Room Operators are wanted initially on a 6-month Fixed Term contract by a global client of ours. The successful candidate will enter orders into the system as well as, answering queries from the drivers who enter the site.
This is an initial 6 month FTC opportunity that includes a base salary of between £43,000 - £48,000 (dependent upon experience and qualifications) plus bonus, and benefits.

Overview of the Control Room Operator role:
- Ensure customers’ product movements are processed to their specifications and instructions.
- Ensure the accuracy of the information onto the stock control system.
- Operate the automated petroleum loading systems.
- Accurate processing of the relevant client and statutory documentation.
- Answer telephone queries from clients and other outside organisations
- Strong customer service skills as well as a real attention to detail
- An ability to work 12-hour shifts both days and nights.
- Possess strong computer skills.
