Position Description:
Outsource are partnering with BAE Systems to recruit for an experienced Civil and Structural Engineer who is looking for a challenging and rewarding opportunity!
The Job:
- Conduct engineering feasibility assessments, preliminary designs, and reports to professional standards.
- Plan and undertake condition surveys, writing comprehensive technical reports.
- Prepare concept designs and options studies for further development.
- Oversee and manage sub-contractors assigned to design projects.
- Perform peer reviews and inspect construction site matters.
- Participate in team planning, risk management, quality, and SHE to support the Project Team.
- Act as a subject matter expert in your discipline.
- Participate in design reviews as required.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Degree qualified in Civil or Structural Engineering or equivalent qualification.
- Chartered Engineer status or working towards Professional Registration (ICE or IStructE).
- Postgraduate experience in the design and construction of infrastructure projects.
- Familiarity with discipline-specific industry standards and Codes of Practice.
- Knowledge of CAD, particularly REVIT, is desirable.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Project).
