Overview
As a SharePoint Engineer at BAE Systems, you'll be responsible for working closely with Squad Leads, Business Engagement Leads, and Stakeholders to translate business demands into clear and actionable work packages, all while adhering to agile principles
Skills
- At least 3 years of experience in a similar role, specifically with SharePoint.
- Strong understanding of ITIL best practices and service management processes.
- Experience working with multiple versions of SharePoint and 3rd party tools (e.g., Nintex, K2, Sharegate).
- Proven ability to manage stakeholders and work in collaborative environments.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience in managing large change requests and supporting project teams.
- Ability to prioritize and adapt to changing demands while meeting project objectives
The Job
- Work with Squad Leads to deliver SharePoint solutions within agreed timeframes and costs.
- Translate business requirements into technical deliverables, ensuring agile methodologies are followed.
- Support the upgrade of SharePoint versions and migration of content.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and customers, capturing and defining requirements for SharePoint improvements.
- Design, develop, and maintain SharePoint solutions in line with governance policies.
- Provide technical guidance and collaborate with other engineers to ensure smooth delivery of projects.
- Ensure that all developments adhere to ITIL processes and best practices.
- Contribute to improvements in processes, practices, and quality systems.
